Manga: Vampire Juuji Kai

For all of you manga lovers in search of a good read, here is a review of an EXCELENT manga called 'Vampire Juuji Kai' or 'Record Of A Fallen Vampire' by Kimura Yuri (artist) and Shirodaira Kyou (author).
As the name suggest the genre of the manga probably falls into the supernatural or fantasy category, perhaps even romance and drama. No surprise there you would think, but this artistic gem (because it is truly one) has a few tricks up its sleeve. At first it seems as another 'popular' vampire love story, of which we've seen enough for the past few years as nothing actually managing to surpass the astonishing 'Vampire Knight' or bound-breaking 'Trinity Blood'. No one likes a predictable story, we all love mystery and complicated, twisted, yet not confusing plots. Well, 'Vampire Juuji Kai' has all that and more! An experienced reader who's been interested (*cough* obsessed) with manga for years can hardly find anything even slightly exciting, unpredictable AND accessible on monthly bases. Look no more! This manga offers something that is more than the boring, overused vampire tragedy storyline, and that is... Sci-fi!!!
If we ignore this little surprise there is still a lot of the plot that makes the story what it is... unique. Even in the beginning, before the 'main' act, we have to go trough a labyrinth of secrets and mysteries to uncover the past which has massive effect on the present, making it sound like a truthful and realistic story of loss, passion, tragedy and blood.
I know I haven't said anything very specific concerning the plot but I just don't want to give anything away and spoil it for you!
ENJOY!Where to read: You can read this manga online on Mangafox.
Where to download: You can download this manga from animeEDEN (Ch 1-15) and FallenVampireScans (Ch 16-present).

Hey, where have you been? It's been a while, huh?
@rising_zero - It has been a while. Can't wait to catch up on Origin! What happened with Fear? Did it get published? If yes by whom??? Please tell me! :)
@Yami_No_Matsuei - In terms of a book, I have found no publisher or agent-_- however, the story is being serialized monthly at Pariah Online Magazine. So far three chapters have been posted up.
@rising_zero - I see. Well, I hope you find a publisher soon! Your work is great! I'm gonna check out that Pariah Magazine. I feel like reading it again! :D
