  • A VJK poem

Here is a poem I wrote, dedicated to the manga Vampire Juuji Kai. This is the first time I've written anything of a fanfiction nature...

    Thy Blessed Moon

    Oh, gentle Mother Moon

    Tell me with your wisdom,

    and your pale smiling face

why The Kingdom of The Night

    is in ruin and despair.

This story is so ancient, but continues

    even to this day.

A battle where nothing is as seen,

    but twists and intervenes

where Light and Dark meet and kiss.

    The Children of the Night,

forever damned to dwell in Darkness,

    already victims of their fate-

are faced with someone to whom

the Sun is a dear, gruesome friend.

    Fear drives Them to destroy

the lonely Red-Rose King and his convoy.

    Drowned in pain and tragic,

He sees no way but to oblige,

for his only love and unborn child,

are but a quite whisper of the wind.

What happened after that is a mystery to all,

    but those involved.

The Queen corrodes the souls of men,

with a power no one knew was there.

Her love and rage melt together…

Humans and the half-blood children fight united

to seal the pure, white Queen that has gone

berserk in her strive to save the King.

From then it’s all just forgotten history.

    Oh, hateful Mother Moon

Tell me with your all-seeing eyes

and soft, pale hands that reach towards the Earth

why is it that this story is so sad

and Death embraces everything that stands.

This is also the LONGEST poem I've ever written.
