Lisey's Story: A Novel
By Stephen King
see relatedEmbrace Nothing
I decided to post a thought that I have always found to be of immense beauty and personal truth.
“Embrace nothing:
If you meet the Buddha, kill the Buddha.
If you meet your father, kill your father.
Only live your life as it is,
Not bound to anything.”By Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, 563-483 B.C.
I must say that the Buddhist teachings are one of my favourite ones. They often seem to match my inner thoughts.

Wow! How true in a way. All wordly posessions are useless. All relationships are useless it seems. It's just you and your faith.
@ZSA_MD - How very well said! Thank you for stopping by and also, thank you for sharing your thoughts.
